Groupe Connectt, 20 years of temporary staffing for construction and industry
Groupe Connectt supports companies with recruitment, temporary work, fixed-term and permanent contracts. Founded 20 years ago, it has 30 branches in major French cities and 120 employees. It operates in eight areas of activity, including construction, healthcare and industry.
Its large construction clients write the EcoVadis medal into their framework agreements, so the group has been assessed since 2021. The program is led by Xavier Jamois, Organization Manager, who also oversees QHSE topics (quality, health, safety, environment). For a year and a half, he has been working with Ditto: Sybille, EcoVadis coach, on the assessment, and Alexis, CSR and carbon footprint expert, on the group's first carbon footprint.
It felt like we were starting over every year. With Ditto, we could focus on what had to come first and spread our actions over three years: it was a real change.

Challenges
Linking every action to what EcoVadis rewards
At the end of 2024, Groupe Connectt scored 57/100 on EcoVadis, with no medal. To keep meeting the sustainability requirements of its large clients, the group set a goal for 2025: at least a Bronze medal.
Many sustainability actions were already in place. The challenge was to tie them to policies, objectives and indicators so that EcoVadis could recognize them. Connectt also needed to know which ones to tackle first, from one assessment to the next.
Two projects were waiting for a method. The carbon footprint, a recurring question in tenders, had been on the table for several years. On responsible procurement, Connectt wanted to assess its suppliers with a questionnaire that actually gets answers.
Solution
A coach, templates and a carbon expert to know what to do, and in what order
Connectt relies on three things from Ditto: an EcoVadis coach, Sybille, to decide priorities; document templates to formalize what already existed; and a CSR and carbon footprint expert, Alexis, with the Ditto platform for data collection.
1. Priorities drawn from the scorecard
With Sybille, Xavier learns to read his EcoVadis scorecard: the issues activated for his sector, the weight of each theme and what is scored in each. The result is a plan spread over three assessments. In 2025, the group focuses on its policies and main measures, and sets aside what adds nothing to the program, such as a materiality matrix started two years earlier. Each year, Sybille works with him to identify the measures to complete before submission.
2. Templates to formalize what already existed
Each action is tied to a policy, with objectives and indicators. On ethics, Connectt had a whistleblowing system with no written procedure: starting from a Ditto template, the group formalizes its alert procedure, separates its code of ethics from its information systems security policy and creates its training materials. On responsible procurement, Ditto helps it shorten its supplier questionnaire and draft a code of conduct signed by suppliers. The questionnaire now targets the suppliers that account for 80% of spend.
3. A first carbon footprint scoped before collection
With Alexis, Xavier does what he calls a "pruning": a scope set on year N-1 (sites and headcount), a method for each collection item and a list of contributors (management, accounting, procurement). Data collection is centralized on the Ditto platform, and Xavier liaises with each contributor.
Ditto helped us demystify the carbon footprint. We pruned everything needed for data collection, with a clear scope and a centralized platform. It's going much faster than expected.

Impact
Silver beyond the goal, and a program that moves forward year after year
At the end of 2025, Groupe Connectt scored 78/100 and earned the Silver medal: +21 points, beyond the Bronze goal. Every theme improved:
- Sustainable procurement: from 42 to 71, the theme that progressed the most;
- Ethics: from 57 to 76, with measures going from 25 to 75;
- Labor & human rights: 100/100 on measures.
A reassessment built on what already exists
In 2026, Groupe Connectt is preparing its reassessment faster than the year before. The group has applied the method for two years: when EcoVadis made the reference year mandatory for quantitative targets in October 2026, its policies were already ready to include it.
A carbon footprint expected by clients
The carbon footprint has become a priority topic in the tender defenses Xavier takes part in. EcoVadis does not require it but rewards it, and Connectt will be able to rely on it with its clients.
Our goal was a Bronze medal. With Ditto's support, we earned the Silver medal, and that gave us the ambition to go for Gold.

Aiming for Gold in December, and making sustainability everyone's business
Groupe Connectt submits its reassessment in December 2026, with one goal: the Gold medal. The group is finalizing its 2026 reporting, validating its policies and objectives for the next three years, completing its carbon footprint data collection and putting in place the additional measures identified with Sybille. It has also chosen the VS (formerly VSME) to make its sustainability results public.
The next step involves people. Xavier wants to engage the group's employees, bringing in branch and department managers and strengthening internal communication, so that sustainability becomes a culture shared across Groupe Connectt.
