Management system
A management system is the set of policies, processes, roles and records an organization uses to reach its objectives on a topic (quality, environment, health and safety, CSR) and to improve over time.
ISO management system standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and others) share a harmonized structure built on the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle: context, leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation and improvement. That shared structure makes it possible to run several standards as one integrated system.
EcoVadis scores the same logic: a policy alone earns little, while documented actions, indicators and reviews show a system that works. A well-kept management system is also what makes audits and questionnaires fast to answer.
