Company

YESSS Électrique: a key player in electrical distribution across France

YESSS Électrique is a major player in the distribution of electrical equipment for professionals. With more than 300 agencies, 34 regional departments and more than 2,000 employees, the company relies on a dynamic culture based on team spirit, innovation and commitment to the service of its customers.

In a constantly evolving sector, YESSS Electric must constantly adapt to new market expectations. Today, corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become a key issue, especially for large accounts that require clear and structured commitments from their suppliers. To meet these new requirements, YESSS Électrique decided to strengthen its CSR approach and to formalize it effectively.

Working with Ditto allowed us to take a step forward in structuring our CSR approach and to promote it with our key account partners.

Challenges

Turning scattered CSR initiatives into a structured, credible approach

While YESSS Électrique was already carrying out several CSR initiatives, the company was facing a major obstacle: the lack of formalization of its commitments. This lack of structure made it difficult to communicate with its key account customers, who now require tangible evidence and accurate data on the actions implemented.

The challenge was all the greater as regulations evolved. The CSRD directive (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) requires companies to be more transparent about their extra-financial performances. For YESSS Electric, it became urgent to centralize information and structure its reporting in order to anticipate these new obligations.

Moreover, CSR is no longer just a question of regulatory compliance. It has become a real differentiating criterion in tenders and commercial relationships. YESSS Electric therefore needed to adopt a solid approach to avoid losing opportunities and strengthen its competitiveness on the market.

Solution

Structuring, centralizing, and accelerating CSR efforts with Ditto

YESSS Électrique has found the answer to these challenges by relying on Ditto, a CSR and compliance co-pilot designed to structure and centralize corporate CSR approaches. For this second year of collaboration, the company worked on several key areas in order to gain efficiency and clarity.

The CSR teams at YESSS Électrique thus used Ditto to:

  • Collect and structure CSR performance indicators, in order to ensure accurate monitoring of the actions implemented.
  • Update and formalize internal policies, ensuring better readability and smooth communication with customers.
  • Centralize documentation, thus avoiding the dispersion of information and facilitating its access to meet the requests of stakeholders.
  • Increase the coverage of CSR actions throughout the company, by progressively involving more departments and employees.

One of Ditto's major assets lies in its ability to simplify this process. Instead of spending a lot of time researching and organizing data, teams have a co-pilot who structures and automates much of the work.

Impact

A clearer, more credible, and higher-performing CSR strategy

Thanks to Ditto, YESSS Électrique was able to quickly see significant progress in its CSR management. The company is now able to respond more effectively to the requests of its key account customers by providing accurate and organized information on its commitments. This increased reactivity reinforces its image and credibility on the market.

The formalization of policies and the collection of indicators also make it possible to anticipate the requirements of the CSRD. YESSS Électrique is no longer content with adapting to regulatory changes: it is getting ahead by structuring its extra-financial reporting now, which avoids last-minute adjustments.

Internally, this structuring has also made it possible to strengthen the awareness of employees about CSR issues. By progressively involving other departments in this approach, YESSS Électrique is creating a collective dynamic around social responsibility, thus promoting the adherence and commitment of its teams.

Finally, from a commercial point of view, the impact is direct. With a clearer and better documented approach, YESSS Électrique reinforces its attractiveness to its customers and prospects. This approach allows it not only to meet market expectations, but also to improve its position in negotiations and tenders, where CSR has become a decisive criterion.

A lasting partnership to go even further

Recognizing the strategic importance of CSR, YESSS Electric does not intend to stop there. The company intends to continue its collaboration with Ditto in order to go even further in structuring and optimizing its approach.

The next steps include broadening the coverage of CSR indicators, an even greater integration of reporting, and increasing the involvement of regional management. YESSS Électrique thus wishes to continue to professionalize its approach, while making CSR ever more accessible and integrated into its daily operations.

With Ditto, YESSS Électrique is transforming CSR into a real driver of growth and competitiveness. This work is not limited to simple compliance: it is a strategic asset that allows the company to differentiate itself, to anticipate market developments and to consolidate its position as a responsible leader.
