Company

Stelliant, a leading player in insurance services in France

Since its creation in 1987, the Stelliant Group has established itself as a key player in insurance services in France. With more than 3300 employees and generating a turnover of 376 million euros in 2024, Stelliant offers a range of services adapted to the needs of each client. The group has always been committed to a corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach, implementing policies and concrete actions. However, while the initiatives were present, they required more structure and centralization in order to maximize their impact.

A big thank you to Ditto who accompanied us brilliantly and patiently. Thanks for helping us structure our strategy. Thank you for responding to all our requests. We have improved in all areas.

Virginie Caro

Challenges

Structuring and showcasing a group-wide CSR strategy

Despite the Group's strong conviction, supported by COMEX, Stelliant encountered several difficulties that were hampering its progress. The company, which obtained the EcoVadis Bronze medal in 2023 for one of its entities and then in 2024 for the entire Group, seemed to be struggling to take the following steps, which were more demanding each year. The dispersion of the data in the different entities and the lack of structuring did not allow the required indicators to be shown effectively.

In a demanding ecosystem where all stakeholders are interconnected, it was not possible for the Group not to succeed in promoting its initiatives to its customers, especially in the context of tenders.

Solution

Ditto, the CSR platform driving the group’s transformation

To overcome these obstacles, Stelliant has chosen to rely on Ditto, its CSR and compliance partner. The objective was twofold: to obtain rapid results while structuring the group's CSR approach in a sustainable manner. The approach proposed by Ditto immediately appealed to Stelliant, by providing in-depth expertise and appropriate follow-up, well beyond what traditional support could offer.

Ditto made it possible to centralize and organize all CSR documents and data, thus facilitating the collection and valuation of relevant numerical indicators. The involvement of internal teams has been strengthened thanks to a clear methodology and targeted coaching sessions, allowing each division (HR, IT, Purchasing, Legal) to better understand its role and to act effectively. The CSR project manager, Virginie Caro, found in Ditto a real ally, facilitating the coordination of efforts and the implementation of the necessary improvements.

Impact

Measurable results and strengthened performance

The combined efforts of Stelliant and Ditto have paid off dramatically. The group managed to go from the bronze medal to the gold medal on EcoVadis, an increase of 18 points, a feat for a company of this size. This tangible recognition immediately strengthened Stelliant's position in the market.

Organizationally, the dynamic has changed significantly. Internal teams now feel involved and concerned with CSR issues, and collaboration between the various departments has improved. Centralizing data and evidence not only facilitated internal communication, but also reduced the time needed to respond to tenders, allowing Stelliant to maintain important contracts with demanding customers.

The business impact is undeniable. By strengthening its CSR policy and providing clear guarantees to partners and customers, Stelliant has differentiated itself from the competition and has consolidated its position on the market. The company is now better equipped to face future regulatory requirements and societal expectations.

Keeping the momentum: a long-term partnership for lasting impact

The partnership between Stelliant and Ditto does not end there. Building on this major advance, new developments are already being considered to maintain this positive momentum. The integration of new modules, such as the CSRD module and the CSR questionnaires, will make it possible to anticipate future regulatory changes and to continue to structure and strengthen the group's CSR strategy.

The relationship of trust established with Ditto and the ability of the CSR platform to support Stelliant in its strategic challenges guarantee a fruitful long-term collaboration. “A big thank you to Ditto who accompanied us brilliantly and patiently. Thank you for helping us structure our strategy. Thank you for responding to all of our requests. We have improved in all areas.” affirms Virginie Caro.

With a solidly established CSR strategy and a reliable partner to manage it, Stelliant is now positioned as a leading player in terms of social responsibility and sustainable commitment. This success perfectly illustrates the importance of a structured approach and the mobilization of teams to transform initiatives into real drivers of competitiveness and growth.
