Company
A company in search of structure and recognition
Binder Magnetic, a subsidiary of the international BRECO group, is a recognized player in the distribution of mechanical and electromagnetic transmission solutions. Based in Gennevilliers in Île-de-France, the company has more than 60 employees and achieved a turnover of 21 million euros in 2023. With exclusive partnerships with leading European suppliers such as KENDRION, NAFSA, ADE and ELECRO, Binder Magnetic must meet ever more stringent requirements in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
While the company was already carrying out various initiatives in favor of sustainable development and social responsibility, it did not have any structured CSR governance or formalized documents attesting to its commitments. This situation has become an obstacle to the growing expectations of customers and financial partners, who are asking for concrete guarantees in terms of social responsibility.
Thanks for your help. I don't think we could have done it on our own so quickly. That's good, that was kind of the goal we set for ourselves. I think we did a good job together.

Challenge
A major challenge: formalizing and promoting CSR commitments
In 2023, Binder Magnetic answered the EcoVadis questionnaire, a CSR performance assessment that is increasingly requested by clients. But due to the lack of supporting documents attached to his response, the score obtained did not reflect the real efforts of the company. This situation highlighted a lack of understanding of the methodology and a lack of structuring in the way CSR is approached.
Faced with these challenges, Binder Magnetic had a double objective: to meet the requirements of its customers, in particular a key player that required an EcoVadis evaluation, and to structure its commitments to include CSR in its DNA in a sustainable way. The aim was not only to get a good grade, but to prove the reliability and credibility of the company on these topics, while strengthening its position in an increasingly competitive market.
Solution
Beavr, a CSR and compliance co-pilot to structure the approach
The search for an effective and adapted solution led Binder Magnetic to adopt Beavir, a true CSR and compliance co-pilot. The platform did not just support the company: it provided the tools and models needed to structure its actions and demonstrate its commitments in a tangible way.
For four months, a close collaboration was established between Beavir and the Binder Magnetic management team, composed of CEO Didier Berbach and human resources manager Lourdes Jude. The objective was clear: to collect the right indicators, set relevant objectives and formalize solid CSR policies.
One of the major challenges was the drafting of policies by theme, a complex exercise that required combining ambition and pragmatism. Thanks to the models made available on Beavir, the company was able to structure its commitments in a coherent and gradual manner, in line with its desire for continuous improvement.
What I particularly appreciated about this partnership was the platform itself, which is a real asset. It's intuitive, easy to use, and saves us valuable time by providing us with templates that already meet EcoVadis' expectations. The artificial intelligence system checked my documents and gave me great reassurance that I wasn't making

Impact
Concrete results and immediate business impact
The efforts made with Beavir quickly paid off. Binder Magnetic was able to identify its priority areas for improvement, structure its documentation and respond effectively to EcoVadis requirements. This approach made it possible to secure the bronze medal, a guarantee of credibility for its partners and customers.
But beyond the score obtained, the impact was felt on several strategic levels. First of all, communication around CSR commitments has been significantly improved. The company can now promote its actions to its stakeholders by relying on formalized and coherent documents. This ability to demonstrate its CSR maturity represents a significant competitive advantage in a context where social responsibility is becoming a decisive selection criterion for many customers and contractors.
Moreover, financial partners, in particular banks, welcomed this structured approach. Recognizing the CSR commitment by an external organization reinforces the confidence of investors and partners, thus opening the way to new development opportunities.
Finally, this structuring does not end with the EcoVadis evaluation. Binder Magnetic has integrated CSR into its organization with concrete actions to come, in particular the implementation of training courses to make all employees aware of sustainability issues.
A dynamic of progress and a vision for the future
For Didier Berbach, CEO of Binder Magnetic, Beavr's contribution was decisive: “Thank you for your help. I don't think we could have done it on our own so quickly. That's good, that was kind of the goal we set for ourselves. I think we did a great job together.”
The company does not intend to stop there. The structuring initiated thanks to Beavir constitutes a solid basis for going further and firmly anchoring CSR into its operations. With a changing market where sustainability is becoming a key differentiator, Binder Magnetic is now positioned as a responsible and credible player, ready to meet the growing requirements of its customers and partners.
This partnership with Beavir illustrates how an industrial company can not only comply with market expectations, but also transform a constraint into a driver of competitiveness and growth. A trajectory that is fully in line with the future of Binder Magnetic and its strategic development.
The solution has strengthened our positioning with our clients and partners, particularly those who place great importance on CSR criteria. This has allowed us to strengthen our credibility and demonstrate our commitment to sustainability. In terms of revenue, although the direct impact is not immediately quantifiable, I am convinced that this approach will have a long-term effect by strengthening our attractiveness and opening the way to new markets, particularly
