Company

Business and context

Since its creation in 1934, FERCO has established itself as a key player in the field of door and window hardware. With more than 650 employees and a turnover of 153.6 million euros in 2024, the company has evolved to meet safety standards and growing market expectations in terms of sustainability. For more than eight years, FERCO has been actively involved in a structured CSR approach, making this transition a central focus of its strategy. At the request of its customers, the company obtained a silver medal from EcoVadis in 2021. Wishing to strengthen its commitment, in 2023, as part of its FORCE business project, FERCO set the objective of winning the gold medal by the end of 2025. To achieve this, FERCO chose Beavir, a CSR and compliance co-pilot, in order to accelerate its transformation and meet the expectations of its contractors. During the 2024 evaluation, Ecovadis once again awarded the silver medal to FERCO, despite the more demanding evaluation requirements.

What we particularly appreciated was this platform that allows everyone to work together on the same sharing system and to really focus on what matters most.

Challenge

The challenge

The challenge FERCO was facing was not limited to simply getting a higher score. The challenge was much wider: to structure its CSR approach effectively, to prepare for the arrival of regulations such as CSRD and, above all, to make sustainability a strategic driver of competitiveness. With growing expectations from customers and business partners, FERCO needed to demonstrate a robust approach, aligned with the most demanding standards. The main obstacle was the need to involve all teams and stakeholders in this transformation, while capitalizing on concrete and measurable actions.

Solution

The solution

It is in this context that FERCO discovered Beavir. More than a simple platform, this CSR co-pilot allows companies to structure, manage and promote their approaches in an effective and collaborative way. What immediately appealed to FERCO was Beavir's ability to centralize efforts and provide a structural framework for rapid progress on priority actions. In particular, the company used Beavir to strengthen its internal policies and engage its suppliers in a more responsible dynamic. One of the flagship initiatives was the organization of a webinar dedicated to key suppliers in order to present FERCO's responsible purchasing policy to them. This approach was followed by the sending of a CSR questionnaire via Beavir, which will thus make it possible to precisely analyze the commitments and areas for improvement of strategic partners.

What I particularly appreciated about this partnership was the platform itself, which is a real asset. It's intuitive, easy to use, and saves us valuable time by providing us with templates that already meet EcoVadis' expectations. The artificial intelligence system checked my documents and gave me great reassurance that I wasn't making

Results and impact

But beyond improving internal structure, the business impact of this approach was quickly felt. The increased transparency and credibility of FERCO in terms of CSR have been a differentiating asset in the face of competition, especially among major contractors eager to select committed partners who comply with new regulatory requirements. By fully integrating CSR into its global strategy, FERCO has not only improved its market positioning; it has also strengthened the trust of its partners and secured new business opportunities.

The future of the partnership between FERCO and Beaver looks promising. The company plans to continue engaging its suppliers through new awareness-raising sessions and a more in-depth analysis of responses to CSR questionnaires. The objective of winning the gold medal in 2025 remains at the heart of FERCO's ambitions, but real success lies in the sustainable integration of best practices within the organization. Thanks to Beavir, FERCO now has an effective co-pilot to transform CSR into a strategic driver of growth, innovation and differentiation in its market.

The solution has strengthened our positioning with our clients and partners, particularly those who place great importance on CSR criteria. This has allowed us to strengthen our credibility and demonstrate our commitment to sustainability. In terms of revenue, although the direct impact is not immediately quantifiable, I am convinced that this approach will have a long-term effect by strengthening our attractiveness and opening the way to new markets, particularly
