The Scope, edited by Ditto
The Scope is a magazine for the people who own QHSE, CSR and supply-chain compliance in mid-sized companies. Usually that is one person, several frameworks, and no budget line. We write for that person.
Articles are long-form, edited and verified. Frameworks are named with their version and their date. Statistics are real or absent. Where a question is genuinely unsettled, we say so and present both sides; where the evidence supports a verdict, we give one. A piece that merely restates the official text does not run.
The Scope is edited and published by the team at Ditto, the compliance platform, and says so plainly. The articles sell nothing. The only thing we offer is a free newsletter subscription, one long read a month. We cover what practitioners have to deal with, whether or not Ditto sells anything for it, and that is what makes the coverage worth a busy person's lunch break.

Our authors
Pierre co-founded Ditto and runs it as CEO, leading the teams that build the CSR and compliance platform its customers use to get compliant, stay compliant and prove it. Before founding the company he spent five years in strategy consulting at BCG. He likes complex subjects, and likes making them accessible even more.
Alexis leads compliance at Ditto, where he runs the expertise team and owns the work of turning each framework the platform supports into something a customer can actually follow. He built the CSRD practice at the consultancy R3 from the ground up, and started his career creating products and services in an innovation studio.
Julie works with Ditto customers on their CSR reporting and their carbon accounting, from a first VSME or CSRD exercise to a footprint that holds up under an auditor's questions. Her days are spent where the frameworks meet the spreadsheets: turning what a company actually does into figures a reader outside the company can trust.
Pierre works in the field with Ditto customers in wholesale, retail and cosmetics, on their QHSE, CSR and supply chain strategy, from a first EcoVadis assessment to a responsible purchasing policy that buyers actually apply. He co-hosts RSEstretto, a short video series that takes one CSR term at a time and explains it.
Ugo heads ESG at Ditto and works in the field with customers in transport, aviation and manufacturing, on their QHSE, CSR and supply chain strategy. Most of his time goes to the part companies underestimate: collecting evidence across sites and suppliers that share neither the same system nor, often, the same country.
Claire created Les Fromages du Bonheur, an independent interactive map of French cheeses: farmhouse and artisanal producers, the 58 AOP, AOC and IGP appellations, cheese itineraries to go and taste them, and a newsletter, la Gazette. She leads the CSRD implementation at Pernod Ricard, where she set up the group's extra-financial reporting, double materiality assessment included, for its first reporting in 2025.
